Since its inception, the Day has aimed to showcase the driving role that Universities play in the country’s development and in promoting social cohesion. This year, the focus is particularly on university cities as privileged places for synergistic interaction between Universities and territories. As places of knowledge production and sharing, university cities are innovation platforms serving the country. Hence the strengthening of the CRUI – ANCI collaboration to make these cities increasingly functional, sustainable, dynamic, and attractive, benefiting not only student communities but also the broader urban population of which they are part.
